AUSTIN, Texas (August 21, 2013) — Now in its seventh year, Lab Quality Confab and Process Improvement Institute is the most widely attended meeting in the clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology industry, attracting participants from countries all across the globe. In advance of the 2013 conference, Lab Quality Confab has given its old website an “extreme makeover” and is very excited to announce to senior lab executives and administrators, managers, and quality team members this improved and enhanced online resource.
With an updated design, refreshed navigation, and richer content, the new Lab Quality Confab website makes it easier for lab professionals to explore what’s in store for them at the 2013 conference, being held this year October 1-2 at the Astor Crowne Plaza in historic New Orleans. In addition to more convenient Confab registration tools, site visitors will also find more to see, more ways to connect via social media, and a mobile-friendly interface designed to provide users with a great website experience on virtually every device and in every browser.
“Even more website enhancements are planned over the next weeks, including comprehensive Confab session details, speaker bios, and more,” said Ron Martin, General Manager at The Dark Intelligence Group.
“We’re proud of the new Lab Quality Confab website and we hope visitors will enjoy all of the new features it has to offer.”
As lab budgets continue to shrink, with yet more cuts expected in 2014, and with hospitals and health systems being asked to do ever more with less money, Lab Quality Confab presents the ideal opportunity for lab industry teams to gather together to attend a broad range of sessions dedicated to a common goal: that of raising the quality of services in their laboratories, while also increasing productivity and decreasing costs.
Events slated for Lab Quality Confab 2013 include:
• More than 40 quality management educational and skill-building sessions
• Certification workshops on Lean and Six Sigma techniques, with certificates of completion for attendees
• Unparalleled informational and networking opportunities, including an exhibition of consultants and quality vendors
• Special Sessions back by popular demand: Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training and Certification, and Lean for Lab Leaders
